Mizan POS ("we", "our", "the app") is a point-of-sale and business management application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data responsibly.

The app collects and processes the following data, which is stored on your company's server:

• Account information: Name, email address, and password (encrypted) for authentication.
• Business data: Products, customers, suppliers, orders, expenses, and inventory records that you enter into the app.
• Device information: Device model and a unique device identifier for session management and security.
• Camera: Used only when you choose to take product photos or scan barcodes. Photos are stored on your company's server. The camera is never accessed in the background.
• Bluetooth: Used only to connect to thermal receipt printers. No data is shared via Bluetooth.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide the point-of-sale, inventory, and business management features of the app.
• To authenticate your identity and secure your account.
• To generate reports (sales, expenses, profit) based on data you enter.

3. Data Storage and Security

All business data is stored on your company's dedicated server, not on shared third-party servers. Data is transmitted over HTTPS (encrypted in transit). Passwords are hashed using bcrypt.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal or business data with third parties. Your data stays on your server.

5. Camera and Permissions

The app requests camera permission solely for:

• Taking product photos during product setup.
• Scanning barcodes/QR codes for quick product lookup.

The camera is only activated when you explicitly tap the camera button. No images are collected or transmitted without your action.

6. Bluetooth

Bluetooth access is used exclusively to connect to thermal receipt printers for printing invoices. No personal data is shared over Bluetooth.

7. Data Retention

Your data is retained on your company's server for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting your system administrator.

8. Children's Privacy

This app is intended for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
